If you're going to eat fast food then this is the place to get it from. I don't feel completely gross after eating the Reuben and one of their chocolate chunk cookies. So good!

I love Arby's. It is rare to find one close by these days. This one caught my attention, as it was next door to the Starbucks that I had frequented the day before.
I came here to grab some dinner. I wanted to head back to my hotel room and have it, along with a couple of alcoholic beverages that I had picked up.
It wasn't all that busy around 5:30 pm. There was plenty of parking. I decided to park and order inside. There is a drive-thru if you are in a rush or don't want to walk in.
I saw my favourite poster of the orange cream shake. It is my favourite shake at Arby's!
I had to wait a bit before someone came to the counter. There was a couple who had ordered something like ten roast beef sandwiches.
When the woman came over, I ordered two medium roast beef sandwiches, a large orange cream shake without whipped cream, and a salted caramel and chocolate chip cookie.
It didn't take long for me to get my order. I was impressed after seeing the two folks carry a ton of food out the door. She was nice. I thanked her and left.
I got back to my hotel room to chow down. The orange cream shake was consistent with my past experiences. It was thick, orangy, and yummy. I was happy.
The roast beef sandwiches were a disappointment. Arby's offers gyros these days. I got the gyros-cut roast beef in my sandwiches. Not cool. They were tough and thicker than what you'd expect. It had a ton of tough bits that I had to toss aside. No wonder I got my sandwiches so quickly. The place was either too lazy to shave the roast beef the way that it should be, or it ran out and decided to sub in the gyros beef without telling me. Ugh!
My salted caramel and chocolate chip cookie made me happy again. I don't normally love caramel, but it works well when it's salted. The chocolate chips balance the cookie out nicely. This cookie is so good!
I'm not sure if I'd come back to give the roast beef sandwich a go again. If I do have a hankering for a cookie or my favourite orange cream shake, I'm here.

What a shame for our lack of fast food in Quebec.
On a drive back from Toronto to Montreal, I make it a point to see what were missing.
This is by no means gourmet food, but the bacon and cheddar junior as well as the crispy chicken sandwich really hit the spot.
The other items on the menu looked like basic sandwiches you can make at home, but it's the convenience factor at play here.
The place looks and feels like the 80's, but it was still kept pretty clean.
